American Schools Casablanca Model United Nations

May 23-25 2025

Welcome message from the Director

Dear ASCMUN Participants and Faculty,

It is with immense honor and pride that I welcome you to the first-ever ASCMUN conference. As the Director of ASCMUN, I am beyond grateful to be part of this milestone moment in our school's history. This conference is especially significant, as it represents a collaborative effort between the American Schools of Casablanca (ASC), George Washington Academy, and American Academy Casablanca. It is a testament to the core values of MUN—to create a platform for young minds to engage in important discussions, understand different perspectives, and develop leadership skills that will extend far beyond this conference. With that, I invite you all to take part in ASC's first MUN, in which I encourage you all to embrace every challenge, approach each negotiation with an open mind, and most importantly, enjoy the journey. This is just the beginning of an incredible legacy, and I am honored to be able to take part in this journey with all of you.

Welcome to ASCMUN 2025!

Sincerely,

Joud Kaal

Director, ASCMUN 2025

Welcome message from the Secretary-General

Welcome to the American Schools Casablanca MUN Conference!

We’re thrilled to have you join us for the first-ever ASCMUN conference! Delegates from across the city and beyond will come together to tackle global issues, engage in debates, and develop leadership skills. As the president of the GWA Model Congress Club, we are proud to collaborate with AAC on this exciting event.

A highlight of this conference is the inclusion of U.S. domestic committees, a first for Morocco. This not only expands the conference’s scope but also strengthens ties between the U.S. and Morocco.

We hope you’ll join us in April! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me.

Sincerely,

Mohamed Ilyas Bouzrari

Secretary General, ASCMUN 2025

This conference is an opportunity to step out of our comfort zones and develop skills that will serve us far beyond these sessions. We have worked hard to make this ASCMUN a memorable and enriching experience, and I cannot wait to see each of you bring your energy, passion, and ideas to the table. Let’s make this conference one to remember!
